After Shirley Pepys and her partner sold NoJo to a New York Stock Exchange corporation, Shirley inspired her daughter Renee in the 1998 start-up company, CoCaLo, which is today one of the fastest growing infant bedding companies in the marketplace. Pepys also opened and later sold Teddy Bears and Tea Cups, a collectible retailer and girl's party place on California's famous Balboa Island in Newport Beach.
