Reviva Labs
The Company Behind the New Expectant Mama Skin-Care Line
Reviva Labs is probably the most experienced skin-care manufacturer producing products for the maternity market.
For over 38 years, Reviva Labs has been producing natural, innovative skin-care formulations for the Reviva brand in professional skin-care salons and Health Food Stores.
Stephen Strassler, founder of Reviva Labs and one of America's earliest Aestheticians, realized long before there was emphasis on "natural skin products" that natural ingredients could affect performance and safety beyond the "chemical" mass market products.
Reviva Labs has introduced more skin-care "firsts" than many of the cosmetic giants.
One of Reviva's firsts was the introduction of ELASTIN to America, one of the major ingredients in some of today's leading stretchmark lotions. Back in 1979, via a European affiliation, Reviva introduced ELASTIN to America, clarifying its elasticity benefits and its difference to collagen. Previously, American chemists' focus was strictly on collagen.
Last year, Reviva's chemists' developed an advanced, broader-benefit stretchmark lotion (explained soon.) Then, the decision was made to expand the line with individual specialties that address problems like Varicose Veins, Facial Pregnancy Mask, and Back & Leg pain.
The New Expectant Mama Stretchmark Lotion
Elastin is a very important ingredient in a stretchmark lotion. But the secret to elastin effectiveness is not found in most stretchmark lotions.
Elastin is a chain of amino acids. The original Reviva elastin extract contained two amino acids not found in standard elastin extracts. They are desmosine and isodesmosine. Without these two linked in the elastin ingredient, it has nowhere near equal effectiveness.
The Expectant Mama formula includes the latter premium elastin ingredient. But the advanced Expectant Mama formula also includes wonder-working Tamanu Oil from Tahiti which combats stretch marks already formed PLUS Cupuacu Butter from Brazil, other butters and oils AND a special peptide which together not only reinforce stretchability but also help improve skin texture. It is recommended to start applying the lotion early in the pregnancy until 6 weeks after birth.
Reviva Labs: Serious Skin Care for the Maternity Market
Reviva's research accented that expectant mothers are hungry for more skin-care information.
In particular, they sought answers for the common problems beyond stretchmarks that expectant moms face during pregnancy.
Thus, Reviva created an individual formula for a belly butter that contains a unique blend of anti-itch herbal ingredients plus three other products for the three problems previously mentioned: Varicose Veins, Facial Pregnancy Mask, and Back & Leg pain.
Also, to provide more information on these problems plus treating Facial Skin during pregnancy, Reviva has produced a highly informative, full-color brochure, copies of which are available FREE to maternity retailers that they can offer to their customers.
The brochure is titled "Beauty Care/Body Care for the Expectant Mother" and is available free by writing on your letterhead to: Expectant Mama, Div. of Reviva Labs Inc., 705 Hopkins Road, Haddonfield, NJ 08033 or faxing to 856-429-0767.
