Strong Interest In Kind + Jugend 2005 Among North American Companies

KIND + JUGEND, the world's largest fair for juvenile products has become a major attraction for North American companies looking for worldwide distribution. A total of 20 North American companies will showcase their products at this event, many of them will participate in the USA Pavilion at KIND + JUGEND. This annual event will take place from September 16-18, 2005 in Cologne, Germany.

Says Sharon Forshpan, Marketing Manager of Arms Reach: "Response to our website indicates a very strong, international demand for our line of co-sleeper products which allows infants to sleep alongside their parents. As a result we need to find a way to sell via international distributors. Participation at the USA Pavilion at KIND + JUGEND seems to be the logical choice for us to create a network of international distributors."

Added Peter Listro, President of Unisar Inc.: "We are excited about our new product which is a device that can monitor a baby's fever while they are asleep. We decided the current dollar strength provides an ideal time to introduce this product along with our line of Baby Sounds and Heart Listeners to international markets during KIND + JUGEND."

"We visited Kind & Jugend last year and decided to exhibit this year", says Greg Adams, Product Manager at Baby Jogger.  We have made some adjustments regarding the design and color schemes we offer and are now ready to re-establish Baby Jogger as the originator of the jogging stroller in international markets. To achieve that goal, our international distributors have strongly advised us to exhibit at KIND + JUGEND this year."

For the first time Koelnmesse will introduce the "KIND + JUGEND INNOVATION AWARD". The competition is open to exhibitors with innovations and products currently not available in the international market place. The Jury is made up of international trade magazines as well as health and safety experts.

The last event in September 2004 attracted 504 exhibitors from 41 countries and 11,314 trade visitors from 87 countries.

Products will include children's furniture, safety seats, buggies, hygiene articles, toys and games as well as apparel for infants, children and teenagers.
